Starry Night Exposure

I create art in order to put my own twist on reality, which is why I combine realistic portraits with abstract or stylised elements. My appreciation for femininity and women has always been of great importance when it comes to choosing the subjects of my work.

A wide range of styles, including illustrative art and Rococo, influence the way I work and how I develop as an artist. Besides visual art I also take lots of inspiration from poetry and pop music.

While my medium of choice is oil paint, I am always eager to experiment with and learn more about other traditional techniques, such as watercolors, pencils and ink. Following various artists’ work and their careers inspires and motivates me to open my mind and find new ways of expressing myself.
